Welcome to GovEdWeb! Our goal is to engage the educational community by offering this portal for resources related to teaching government. We want to contribute to the development of an active, informed, and engaged citizenry from kindergarten through college.

GovEdWeb is sponsored by the Department of Political Science at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The University of Nebraska at Omaha is a metropolitan university with a mission to disseminate knowledge through research and teaching, and offering public service to the citizens of the state, particularly the Omaha metropolitan area. You can read more about the GovEdWeb program by selecting the GovEdWeb News tab above.

To find material for teaching government to students at every level, simply select the U.S. Government or Comparative Government tabs above. There you will find many excellent examples of course syllabi, lesson plans that will engage students, and reviews of some of the leading books in the field. All were prepared by highly qualified teachers with years of experience.

We also welcome your submissions. If you are interested in contributing to GovEdWeb select the Contributors tab above. All other comments should be directed to govedweb@unomaha.edu.
